400 cows are going to Dhaka by train from Jamalpur

Like every year, the Cattle Special Train has left for Dhaka with 400 animals in 25 wagons (carriage) from Jamalpur Islampur railway station with sacrificial animals.

The train left Islampur Bazar station on Wednesday (June 12) evening. Islampur Railway Station Master Shaheen Mia confirmed this.

He said that the first shipment left for Dhaka in the evening. Another train will leave from the same station at night. There also 16 of 25 wagons will leave for Dhaka with a total of 400 cows. Another cattle train will leave for Dhaka on Thursday (June 13). This time the fare of each wagon has been fixed at 8 thousand taka.

The station master said traders and farmers are happy to transport animals by train without suffering and at low cost. Therefore, this service will be continued every year.
