A big rise in the stock market on the last working day of the week

On Thursday, the last working day of the week, there was a big rise in the country’s stock market. All the indices have seen big gains along with the increase in share and unit prices of most of the companies. Also, the transaction speed has increased.

The main stock market Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) has increased by 123 points. And the transaction has increased to close to 800 crore rupees. This was the highest transaction in the market since last May 13. And more than 350 companies have written their names on the price increase list.

Similar to DSE, Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), another stock market, has registered the names of shares and units of most companies in the price increase list. As a result, there has been a big rise in prices in the market. Also, the volume of transactions has increased.

On this day, trading in the stock market began with the increase in the price of shares and units of most companies. As a result, the index showed an upward trend at the beginning of the transaction. The list of price increases increases as the transaction time increases. As a result, all indices ended the day trading with big gains.

Shares and units of 365 companies entered the list of price hikes at the end of the day’s trading. On the contrary, the prices of 13 companies have decreased. And the price of 18 remains unchanged. The share price of 19 companies in the price increase list has increased as much as possible in one day.

During most of the day’s trading, the shares of these institutions received huge buy orders at the highest price of the day. Conversely, the sales order cell becomes empty. As a result, the shares of these companies were traded at the highest price of the day.

As a result, the main price index of DSE, DSEX, rose by 123 points to 5,497 points. Among the other two indices, the DSE Shariah index increased by 22 points to 1,208 points compared to the previous day. And the DSE-30 index consisting of 30 well-chosen companies rose by 38 points to 1,951 points compared to the previous day.

Meanwhile, 770 crores and 70 lakhs of taka have been traded in the market throughout the day. 539 crore 27 lakh taka was traded on the previous working day. Accordingly, the transaction increased by 231 crore 43 lakh taka. The transaction not only increased compared to the previous working day, it was the highest transaction on DSE since May 13 this year.

Orion Pharma shares contributed the most in this transaction. The shares of the company have been traded for Tk 27 crore 53 lakh. The shares of BRAC Bank, which is in the second place, were traded for Tk 19 crore 94 lakh. Sea Pearl Beach Resort is in the third place with a share transaction of Tk 17 crore 21 lakh.

Besides, the list of top ten companies in terms of transactions on DSE includes – Alif Industries, British American Tobacco, Saif Power Tech, Asiatic Laboratories, Lavello Ice Cream, Best Holding and Malek Spinning.

The other stock market CSE overall price index CASPI increased by 306 points. 199 out of 247 firms participating in the market rose in price. On the contrary, the prices of 31 have decreased and the prices of 17 have remained unchanged. 24 Crore 65 Lakh Tk. 5 crore 55 lakh was traded on the previous working day.
