After the catfight, Brazil began to suffer!

The plight of the Brazilian national team is not leaving behind. The performance is perfect. On top of that, the Seleção had to leave after losing to Uruguay in the quarter-finals of the Copa America. All in all, the current Brazil team is on the edge of the abyss. The plight of the Seleção is being blamed by many Brazilians for the feline.

Brazil’s national team press officer threw a cat at a press conference ahead of the 2022 World Cup quarter-final against Croatia.

What happened that day? Brazil was in great form in the first matches of the 2022 World Cup. But in the quarter-finals they unexpectedly lost to Croatia in a tiebreaker. The team’s star Vinicius Jr. came to the press conference before the match and saw a cat lying on the table. The Brazilian press officer grabbed the cat very badly and threw it to the ground. Then everyone present there was very surprised. But Vinicius Jr. was laughing.

Cats are considered sacred animals in Islam. As the World Cup was held in Qatar, Brazil faced a lot of criticism for its unfair treatment of cats.

Brazil then adopted a small cat to overcome this criticism. The cat is taken with the support of everyone in the squad. Although they do not believe in such evil of cats. Yet they did it to avoid criticism. They named the cat ‘Hexa’. That also means their goal of winning the sixth World Cup. But it didn’t work. Brazil left from the quarter.

Brazil played 17 matches after the cat fight. Seleção played these matches in World Cup qualifiers, friendly matches and Copa America, including Croatia. They have won only 6 of them. Brazilians had to digest 7 draws and 5 losses. They have been eliminated from two consecutive tournaments.

The next matches of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers are starting in September this year. Time will tell if Brazil can pull themselves out of that mess.
