Babar-Rizwan ‘ultimatum’ of former Pakistan captain

After playing only 3 matches in the T20 World Cup, Pakistan’s exit is practically confirmed. In the first match, Pakistan lost to a team like the USA, but in the second match, Pakistan managed to lose despite creating chances against India.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) President Mohsin Naqvi has said that the Pakistan team will be changed after the World Cup. Babar Azam’s captaincy has also been questioned. His slow batting did not go unnoticed.

Mohammad Rizwan also did not do well in T20 World Cup. In the match against Canada, many wasted the ball when making a fifty. Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif gave an ultimatum to Babar and Rizwan due to such bad performance.

Latif advised these two stars of the team to change their game. They have to change their batting approach. As did India’s Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. And if they can’t change, then they should leave the party, Latif gave an ultimatum.

Latif said, ‘I will give examples of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. To show how they have changed themselves. Rohit has changed himself 190 degrees; Change is possible. Because he has become an ideal cricketer. His IPL strike rate earlier was 130-140. But this year it has reached 160. Virat Kohli did the same.’

‘If these two batsmen can change, then anyone can. I would give Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan 5 matches to change their batting approach in T20s. And if they don’t, there shouldn’t be any place for them in the team,” added Latif.
