Babar-Rizwan’s salary increased three times

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had given the good news of increasing the salaries of Pakistani cricketers long before the World Cup. However, the country’s cricket board did not say how much has been increased. Finally, Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan came to know how much their salary has increased.

Updating the central contract information with the cricketers, the PCB said that the salary has been increased in all the four categories. In this case, the distribution of A-category cricketers has been increased the most. The salary of cricketers in the first category of the pay scale has increased more than three times. As a percentage, which is 202 percent.

Cricketers in this category are current captain Babar Azam, wicketkeeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi. From now on they will get a monthly salary of 45 lakh Pakistani rupees.

Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman and others who are playing in B-category, their salary has increased by 144 percent. From now on, cricketers in this category will get a salary of 3 million Pakistani rupees.

The salary of Imad Wasim, Iftekhar Ahmed playing in COD category has been increased from 127 to 135 percent. Their salary range is from 7 lakh 50 thousand to 15 lakh rupees.

The salaries of the cricketers have been increased so much that they can focus less on the games of the foreign franchises than the domestic game. However, it remains to be seen how effective this initiative of PCB is.
