Bangladesh lost the toss and batted

The toss was delayed due to rain in Kingstown, St. Vincent. The toss was supposed to be at eight o’clock Bangladesh time. It was half an hour late.

Luck did not help Bangladesh. Netherlands won the toss and fielded first. As a result, Nazmul Hossain Shantar’s team will bat.

One win in two matches. Bangladesh, however, are still number two in the points table in the group. Although they have equal points with the Netherlands, they are behind in run rate.

So today’s match is very important for both the teams to keep the dream of Super Eight alive.
