Bangladesh-Pakistan series schedule is final

It is already known that Pakistan will play a Test series against Bangladesh after the T20 World Cup. However, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not announced the schedule of their home series so far. Finally, the organization has announced the schedule of the red ball series against the Tigers today.

According to the announced schedule, Bangladesh will tour Pakistan next August. The Tigers will play only two Test matches against Pakistan in this tour.

The first Test match will be played in Rawalpindi. It will start on August 25. And the final test match is on August 30 in Karachi.

Pakistan traditionally do not play series in August. Only two Test matches in their history have been played this month. That too against Bangladesh in 2003.

The reason for not playing in August is that the weather in the country is extremely hot during this time. Which is not considered ideal for playing.

Pakistan will play 3 Tests against England this year after finishing the series against Bangladesh.
