BJP is in a rush to form the government, dependent on alliances

The results of the Indian Lok Sabha election vote count are in stark contrast to the booth return polls. The ruling BJP is in trouble. They now have to depend on the NDA coalition.

A party needs to win at least 272 seats to form a single government in India. But no party is getting this majority. As a result, the discussion about the alliance has started.

  • Modi’s dream of winning 400 seats is gone

The two parties in the NDA alliance are Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP and Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United. They can fill the gap in BJP’s majority. This is the first such situation since 2014.

The other two major parties in the NDA alliance are Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena leading in six seats and Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janashakti Party leading in five.

Discussions have already begun on the process of government formation in India. BJP president JP Nadda has called a meeting of the NDA alliance on Wednesday (June 5), a source told NDTV. Moreover, both Modi and Amit Shah spoke to Naidu today.

Besides, a BJP meeting is going on at Nadda’s house. Amit Shah and Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders are there. Modi himself will visit the BJP central office in the evening.

On the other hand, the India alliance is also going to meet tomorrow. NCP chief Sharad Pawar informed this information.

Meanwhile, reports are rife that Sharad Pawar has spoken to Naidu and Nitish Kumar.

India’s Lok Sabha election results show a battle between the BJP-led NDA and the Congress-led India Alliance.

The results released so far show that the NDA alliance is ahead in 294 seats out of 543 seats. On the other hand, India Alliance is ahead in 232 seats. However, the final result has not been declared in any seat so far.

BJP alone is ahead in 242 seats. Which is not enough to form the government. Because in order to form the government, a political party must win at least 272 seats.

Meanwhile, the Congress is ahead in 101 seats alone. Others got 201 seats. As a result, the information available so far shows that the alliance will play an important role in the formation of the government in India this time.
