BNP’s talk of democracy does not fit: Deepu Moni

BNP talks about democracy, but does not live up to the word of democracy. Bangladesh Awami League Joint General Secretary and Social Welfare Minister said that BNP-Jamaat must be resisted at any cost. Deepu Moni.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting organized by the district branch of Bangladesh Jubo Mahila League on the occasion of the 22nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Jubo Mahila League at Chandpur district Awami League office on Saturday (July 6).

Dipu Moni said, BNP does apolitical politics in the name of politics. They are born through murder and conspiracy. An organization formed from the pocket of an illegal occupying military ruler. Then a party was formed with different types of people, its name is BNP.

The minister also said that that party (BNP) is against the independence of Bangladesh. But they want to say that they are also pro-independence people. If so, why do they hang around with anti-independence people and stop prosecuting war criminals? Why does BNP put the red green flag on their cars and make them ministers. So this BNP Jamaat must be resisted at any cost.

Dipu Moni said, we do not do politics of destruction, we do politics of creation. We do politics of peace, not terror. Under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, we will move the country forward on the path of politics of creation and peace.

Under the chairmanship of Farida Ilyach, the district president of the organization, the mayor of Chandpur municipality gave a speech as a special guest. Zillur Rahman, Chandpur District Judge Court Public Prosecutor (PP) Ranjit Roy Chowdhury, District Awami League Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary Masud Alam Milton, Women Awami League President Prof. Masuda Noor Khan, Jubo League Joint Convener Mahfuzur Rahman Tutul, District Chhatra League President Zahir Mizi. And Vice Chairman of Sadar Upazila Parishad Nurul Haider Sangram.

After the discussion, the minister cut the 22nd anniversary cake of Jubo Mahila League with the guests. Leaders and activists from different levels of the organization were present in the event.
