BPCCI President meeting with Philippine Ambassador

The newly appointed president of Bangladesh-Philippines Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BPCCI) Humayun Rashid met with the Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh.

At that time, the vice president of the organization Imran Ahmed was with him. The one-hour long meeting was held at the Philippine Embassy in Dhaka on Monday.

During the meeting, Humayun Rashid and Imran Ahmed, on behalf of the newly elected committee, met with the Philippine Ambassador to Bangladesh and discussed important business opportunities and challenges between the two countries, including effective trade strategies.

In the meeting, the BPCCI President and Vice President highlighted the objectives of the organization in 2024 and 2025 and emphasized on the commitment of the organization in strengthening the economic relations between Bangladesh and the Philippines. In the fruitful meeting, ideas were exchanged on future cooperative activities and partnership opportunities between Bangladesh and the Philippines, where both sides expressed enthusiasm for new opportunities and strengthening of existing trade relations.

BPCCI serves as the leading platform for dealing with various bilateral issues including trade between two of the world’s fastest growing economies, Bangladesh and the Philippines. Established in 2013, BPCCI has also played a role in achieving the goals of increasing economic cooperation between the two countries and expanding scope in the cultural field.
