Bumrah also felt they were behind

India were all out for just 119 runs. Before this, they could not snatch victory from the opponent in T20 by making this run. On Sunday night, however, India did just that. Pakistan lost by 6 runs.

The most important role in this was the pacer Jasprit Bumrah. He won the man of the match award with 3 wickets for just 14 runs in 4 overs. But until one time of the match, he thought that India was behind. What plans did they succeed from there?

Bumrah told the ICC after the match, ‘It feels really good. We thought we were a little behind. After the sun came up the wicket got a little better. We were really disciplined. It feels good to win.’

Bumrah said about his bowling, ‘I tried to hit the seam as much as possible. I tried to be as specific as possible. It all worked fine. That’s why I’m happy.’

Speaking to the crowd in New York, he said, ‘It felt like we were playing in India, really happy with the support. It gives us strength on the field. We now focus. We played two matches and played really well.’
