China-Pakistan will take steps to strengthen bilateral relations

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has visited China. He held a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the capital Beijing.

On Friday (June 7) they discussed various issues of the two countries.

In the meeting, the heads of state of the two countries said to take steps to deepen the relationship. Especially in politics, economy and security.

The leaders of the two friendly countries also emphasized on the long-standing All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership.

On this day, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif held a long meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Cabinet members of both countries were present in the meeting. This is Shahbaz’s first meeting with Xi Jinping after becoming Pakistan’s Prime Minister in 2024.

Prime Minister Shahbaz thanked Xi Jinping for the warm and kind welcome he and his delegation received in China.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s expatriate income has been recorded in May this year. Expatriates sent remittances of $3.243 billion to the country this month, which is 54.2 percent more than a year ago.
