Chuadanga recorded the highest temperature of 39.5 degrees

The second heat wave of the season has started in Chuadanga. Moderate heat wave has been going on for the last four days. Which may continue for another 3-4 days, said the Meteorological Office.

The maximum temperature recorded in Chuadanga was 39.5 degrees Celsius on Monday (June 10) afternoon. At that time the air humidity was 54 percent.

People’s life has become miserable due to intense heat. It is becoming difficult to go out in the hot sun. Day laborers, van-rickshaw drivers are spending idle time not being able to work. As the day progresses, the movement of people on the roads is limited.

Meteorological department officials say that the amount of water vapor in the air is high. Due to the increase in humidity, such intense heat is felt. Due to which the body is sweating profusely.

Jaminur Rahman, in-charge of Chuadanga Meteorological Office, said that the second phase of the heat wave has started this month from Friday (June 7). This may continue for another 3-4 days.
