Demonstrations in front of the Israeli Ministers’ House

For so long, Israel has been in a frenzy of protests against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This time other ministers are also added to this list. According to Israeli media reports, the country’s Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Foreign Minister Israel Katz, Israeli Parliament Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, Economic Affairs Minister Nir Barkat, Transport Minister Miri Regev, Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter, and National Security Affairs Minister Yitzhak Wasserlof protested in front of their homes.

Netanyahu has recently come under fire for the prolongation of the conflict in Gaza and his failure to free hostages. The protesters demanded the resignation of his government.

The conflict in Gaza has been going on for almost 9 months. The protests show no sign of abating yet. On October 7, the Palestinian independence organization Hamas entered the border of Israel and launched a sudden attack. At that time, more than a thousand Israeli citizens were kidnapped. After that, Israel counter-attacked Gaza.

Innocent women, men and children are being killed every day in the name of operations in Gaza. Gaza’s Hamas-controlled health ministry says 38,980 Palestinians have been killed there so far. Besides, another 87 thousand 705 people were injured.

Earlier, Hamas released more than 250 hostages in the ceasefire between the two sides. But then the conflict started again. However, Israel does not appear to be interested in a new ceasefire in Gaza. There is no progress even on the release of the remaining hostages. Based on these issues, anger against Netanyahu in Israel has increased throughout the country.

Months of Israeli attacks have exacerbated food, water, medicine and other humanitarian crises in Gaza. It was also confirmed that five journalists were killed in the Israeli attack on Saturday.

Gaza’s Hamas-controlled health ministry said in a statement that at least 50 Palestinians were taken to hospital with injuries. No place in Gaza is safe now. Israel is attacking wherever the Palestinians are taking shelter, thinking it is a safe area.
