Disappeared in the afternoon, the child’s naked body was found in the morning


The police recovered the body of a school student named Jihad Hossain (9) after 12 hours of his disappearance in Ishwardi, Pabna. His body was found naked in the bushes of an abandoned food warehouse at Mansidpur Tentultala of Dashuria Union of the upazila at 5 am on Saturday (July 6).

The deceased Jihad Hossain is the son of Hasem Ali, a resident of Munsidpur village and a third class student of Dashuria Kindergarten.

Jihad Hossain’s elder brother Mohammad Shubo told Jago News that on Friday (July 5) around 5:00 pm, Jihad was playing with his classmates in the rain near the abandoned food warehouse in Tentultala. I told him to go home without getting wet in the rain and left. After a while I went home and saw that there was no Jihad. Later I went to Tentultala Godown but could not find him. After much searching the area was miked at night. Jihad’s shorts and sandals were found inside Tentultala godown at around 12 pm. Around 5 am on Saturday morning, the body was found naked and wrapped in a rug in the bushes of the godown.

Afzal Hossain Khan, head teacher of Dashuria Kindergarten, said, I heard the news of Jihad’s disappearance yesterday, and heard that his body was recovered early this morning. I have come to Jihad’s house. Jihad is a third grader in our school.

Ishwardi Police Station Inspector (Investigation) ABM Monirul Islam told Jago News that the police recovered Jihad’s body. The investigation is going on, the details will be given after the investigation.
