England is entering the field against the Swiss with one change


England is entering the field against Switzerland in order to reach the semi-finals in the second consecutive Euro tournament. Despite being far ahead of the Swiss in name and weight, England’s footballers are not able to satisfy the fans with their performance.

Therefore, Gareth Southgate’s team is entering the quarter-finals today with a change in the team. The English have made one change to their playing XI. Ezri Konsa is dropped into the playing XI in place of Mark Gue.

On the other hand, Switzerland is also entering the field with a very strong XI. The two teams have faced each other 27 times in all competitions so far. Where England won 19 matches and Swiss won only 3 matches. Shaqiri’s last win came in 1981. They beat England 2-1 in that World Cup qualifying match.
