India will stand by Teesta water management: Minister of State for Commerce


Commerce State Minister Ahsanul Islam Titu said that India will stand by the Teesta water management. He said that the Prime Minister’s visit to India was a success. Diplomatic relations between the two countries were discussed. Modi himself said that India will stand by Teesta water management. It will assist in taking such steps as may be necessary.

He said this to reporters after an exchange meeting in the hall of Sheikh Hasina Medical College Hospital in Tangail on Saturday afternoon.

The state minister said, trying to improve the supply between both of them, from production to consumer by controlling commodity prices. Ensuring that there is no crisis in the supply of domestic and imported goods.

He also said that there has been an unprecedented development in the communication system of the country. Whenever the product is required we will ensure fast delivery of the product due to advanced communication system. Rail will be used to deliver goods quickly to consumers.

State Minister for Education Shamsun Nahar Champa, Member of Parliament for Tangail-4 Constituency Abdul Latif Siddiqui, Member of Parliament for Tangail-5 Constituency Chanwar Hossain and Deputy Commissioner Kaysarul Islam and others were present.
