Israel killed more than 15 thousand children in Gaza

Israeli forces have killed more than 15,000 children in Gaza. Israel has been added to the UN’s annual blacklist of countries that persecute children in armed conflict. Francesca Albanese, UN human rights expert in the occupied Palestinian territory, welcomed the march. He said, this step is the result of their long wait.

In a post on social media, Albanese said Israel was included in the list of states that have committed heinous violations of international law against children. They killed 15,000 children and orphaned another 20,000 children. They should not have done that.

Albanese has been outspoken against the Israeli aggression in Gaza. In late May, he called for tougher sanctions against the Israeli government.

Hundreds of thousands of children in Gaza lost various body parts in the Israeli attack. This number is said to be at least three thousand.

Meanwhile, Gaza’s Hamas-controlled health ministry said 77 people had been killed there in the past 24 hours. Besides, another 221 people were injured.
