Missing at night, the body of the young man was found the next morning with his hands and feet tied

The police recovered the body of a young man (30) with his hands and feet tied in the Ramu area of ​​the Cox’s Bazar-Chittagong railway.

On Sunday (July 7) morning, the body was recovered from the side of the railway line in the middle of Kadmarpara-Dhali junction of Rashidnagar Union.

The name of the deceased youth is Abdullah Al Mamun. He is the son of late Nabi Hussain of Kharulia Ghatpara area of ​​Cox’s Bazar Sadar.

Ramu Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abu Taher Dewan confirmed the recovery of the body.

The police and relatives of the deceased said that Mamun left the house on Saturday (July 6) evening and went towards Cox’s Bazar. After a few hours, his mobile phone was found switched off. As Mamun did not return home even after 11 o’clock at night, the family members searched in different places. But he was not found. On Sunday morning, locals found a dead body with hands and feet tied next to the railway line in the middle of the Kadmarpara-Dhali junction of Ramur Rashid Nagar. On receiving the information, the police went and recovered the body. The body was later identified as Abdullah Al Mamun.

OC Abu Taher Dewan said that the body was found with hands and feet tied. No major injuries were seen on the body. Initially, it is believed that he was strangled to death. The body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
