Ronaldo will get goals in the Euro, believes Mourinho

Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho spent many seasons together at Real Madrid. Being Portuguese, this special one knows Ronaldo very well. Many think they have seen the end of Ronaldo. However, Mourinho believes that the Al Nasr star still has the ability to score goals.

Ronaldo’s Portugal is in a slightly easier group at the Euro Championship. Mourinho believes Ronaldo can play an important role in Portugal’s Euro win.

“Ronaldo knows how to score goals and what his goals are,” Mourinho said. The coach knows better whether he will be played full time or left for important periods.’

Ronaldo scored 50 goals in 51 matches for Al Nasr in the Saudi Pro League in the 2023-24 season. The 39-year-old Portuguese striker’s last Euro is the Euro 2024 tournament, which starts on July 14.

This year’s Euro is the 11th major tournament in Ronaldo’s football career. Mourinho thinks that Ronaldo will do well in this crowded event.

“He has a different kind of dominance on the pitch,” Mourinho said. He will score. I don’t believe he will finish the tournament without a goal.’
