TCB’s July product sale begins on Monday


Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) sales activities for the month of July will begin on Monday (July 8) across the country, including Dhaka.

The company under the Ministry of Commerce announced this information in a press release on Sunday (July 7) afternoon.

According to TCB, the sale of TCB products (edible oil, lentil and rice) at affordable prices among one crore beneficiary card holder families of low income is ongoing. This year’s July product sales will start from July 8 across the country.

This activity will be conducted by the dealers from the shop or designated permanent place as per the scheduled date and time with the overall cooperation of the city corporation and district and upazila administration.

Beneficiaries can buy a maximum of 2 liters of edible oil, 2 kg of lentils and 5 kg of rice during this period. Edible oil will cost Tk 100 per liter, lentils Tk 60 and rice Tk 30 per kg.

Meanwhile, this month’s activities will be inaugurated by Ministry of Commerce Secretary Mohang Salim Uddin at the Karail T&T Colony Ansar Camp ground in Banani, capital, according to the notification.
