Telling the truth is also good for health

Telling the truth is part of faith. Also telling the truth is good for health. Today is the day to tell the truth, ‘Tell the Truth Day’. Just as you can maintain your dignity by always telling the truth, this practice will also ensure your mental and physical well-being.

It is a surprising fact that always telling the truth ensures mental and physical well-being. In this regard, researchers from the University of Notre Dame in the United States say that if you tell the truth even when lying, both your mental and physical health will improve.

The study divided 110 people aged 18-71 into two groups. One group was prohibited from lying for 10 weeks. There was no such command over the other party.

After a 10-week experiment, researchers found that those who hadn’t lied in the past few months had fewer problems with anxiety, depression and headaches. Even their personal relationship with their partner has improved due to always telling the truth.

According to research by lie expert Robert Feldman, about 60 percent of people lie at least twice in a 10-minute conversation with someone.

On the other hand, according to Anita E. Kelly, a psychology professor at the University of Notre Dame and lead author of a research project called The Science of Honesty, the average person lies about 11 times a day.

And lying causes constant stress, which destroys the immune system. So there is no alternative to telling the truth.
