The army chief returned to the country after his visit to Singapore

Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed has returned home after his official visit to Singapore (June 2). During his visit, he participated in the ‘International Institute for Strategic Studies Shangri-La Dialogue 21st Asia Security Summit-2024’ held in Singapore from May 31 to June 2.

This information was given in a press release sent by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, the conference discussed regional security risks in the Asia region, bilateral discussions on important military issues and determining joint actions to counter the risks.

Besides, the Chief of Army Staff participated in bilateral meetings with the German State Minister of Defense and high-ranking military and civilian officials, including army chiefs from various countries.

The Army Chief left for Singapore on an official visit on May 30.
