The old man did not return from the market, the dead body was found in the morning


The police recovered the dead body of an old man named Abdul Khalek Khaja Mia (70) from the front of his house in Subarnachar, Noakhali.

He went to the local Kanchan market on Saturday (July 6) evening and did not return. His body was recovered early on Sunday (July 7).

The deceased Abdul Khalek is the son of deceased Abdur Razzak of Chararshid village of Charjabbar union. He did agricultural work.

Kamla Begum Kanchan, the wife of the deceased, said that my husband went to the local Kanchan market on Saturday evening and did not return home. I thought the girl’s son-in-law went home next to the market. But when they went to the girl’s house in the morning to find out, they saw her dead body and informed the police.

Village Policeman Khalilur Rahman, the elder son of the deceased, said that my father left the market for home at around 9 pm. Someone killed him on the way. I am preparing a case in this regard. We want exemplary punishment for the criminals.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Charjabbar Police Station. Kawsar Alam Bhuiyan told Jago News that the body of the deceased was recovered after receiving information. There are cut marks on the neck. The body is being sent to Noakhali General Hospital for post-mortem. Multiple intelligence teams are working in the field. Legal action will be taken based on the family’s complaint.
