Minister of Health and Family Welfare Dr. Samant Lal Sen said that two people admitted to Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute are not free from fear.

On Monday (July 8), Sheikh Hasina said these things to reporters while visiting the injured in the Rath Yatra at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. Meanwhile, the health minister inquired about the treatment of the injured. The relatives of the injured consoled the relatives and assured that the injured would be given proper treatment.

On Sunday (July 7) 4 people were killed instantly by electrocution during the Rath Yatra of the Hindu community in Bogra. 5 people have been killed till the last news. More than fifty others were injured in this accident.

In this context, the minister said, I am in constant contact with the doctors of Bogra and Sheikh Hasina Burn Institute. Talked to the patient’s relatives. I want to assure them that I will try my best to ensure proper treatment. All the medical expenses of those injured will be borne by the Government of Bangladesh.

Also, expressing deep condolences to the family members of the deceased, the Health Minister said, I am deeply saddened by this tragic incident. Director, Civil Surgeon, Bogra Government Hospital has been directed to ensure proper and proper treatment of the injured.
