The District Detective Police (DB) arrested four members of a motorcycle theft gang from Sadar and Kabirhat in Noakhali. Four stolen motorcycles were recovered from them. According to the police, they disappeared with any motorcycle in just two minutes without keys.

District DB Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazim Uddin Ahmed confirmed the arrest to Jago News on Saturday (July 6) night. Earlier in the morning they were arrested in Dhansindi Union of Sadar and Dhansindi Union of Sadar.

The arrested are the son of Azad Uddin of East Shullakia village of Dharmapur Union of Sadar Upazila. Ferdaus (44), son of Noor Islam of Chardarbesh village of Ward No. 9. Nurul Amin (35), Abdul Malek (40) son of Abdul Wahab of the same village and Bachchu Mia son of Navagram area of ​​Ward No. 9 of Dhansindi Union of Kabirhat Upazila. Alauddin (35). A case has been registered against them at Sudharam Model Police Station.

According to the police, the theft of a motorcycle took place in front of Zakir’s fuchka shop at the head of road no. Later, on the orders of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Asaduzzaman, an operation was conducted based on secret information. The accused were arrested along with four stolen motorcycles.

In the interrogation, the accused said that they can disappear with any brand of motorcycle without keys in just two minutes. In this case, new motorcycles of good brands are their target. After the theft, these motorcycles were taken and sold in different areas with each other’s connivance.

DB OC Nazim Uddin Ahmed also said that four accused have been sent to jail through the court in the case filed at Sudharam Model Police Station. The operation to arrest other members of the gang continues.
