Those who criticize Saint Martin are anti-libertarians


Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Farooq Khan said that those who make negative comments about St. Martin are anti-independence. He said these things at the opening ceremony of the Bangladesh Festival at Collectorate ground in Rajshahi on Friday (July 5) afternoon.

He said that when the Prime Minister visited India, he tried to increase the connectivity of not only Bangladesh but India-Nepal-Bhutan. Connectivity means development, connectivity means business development. I hope that using this connectivity, business and commerce will develop in Rajshahi region.

The minister said, we are working for multifaceted development at Rajshahi Airport. Its runway is being widened and lengthened. We are thinking of bringing flights from abroad in it.

Under the chairmanship of Mokammel Hossain, Secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, Rajshahi-2 Constituency Member of Parliament Principal Shafiqur Rahman, Bangladesh Tourism Corporation Chairman AKM Aftab Hossain Pramanik, Small and Medium Industries Foundation Chairperson Professor Dr. Masudur Rahman, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dewar Muhammad Humayun Kabir, Rajshahi Range DIG Anisur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ahmed and others were present.
