Three teachers dismissed for neglect of duty in Noakhali


In Noakhali’s Chatkhil, three teachers have been dismissed for dereliction of duty in the HSC and equivalent examinations. They will not be able to perform the duty of invigilator in any examination this year.

The incident took place in rooms 1 and 3 of Chatkhil Kamil Madrasa Center during the examination of Alim Bangla II Paper at 11:30 am on Sunday (July 7).

The exempted teachers are Habib Ullah Mesbah, assistant professor of Karihati Fazil Madrasa, Zahir Uddin, assistant professor of Mallikadighi Par Fazil Madrasa and Takdir Hossain, lecturer of VT Fazil Madrasa of Khwaja. They are also exempted from the on-going further examinations.

He said that in the afternoon, the supervising officer of the center and the upazila executive officer Sheikh Ehsan Uddin came to visit the center and saw the neglect of the duties of the three teachers. Later ordered their release.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sheikh Ehsan Uddin said, ‘I went to visit the center in the afternoon and heard the sound of commotion in the examination room. Later I went to the rooms and found that the room watchers were not performing their duties properly. Because of which action has been taken against them. Irregularities in examination will not be tolerated.’
