Türkiye lead 1-0 in the first half against the Dutch

It was already predictable that the match between England and Switzerland in the quarter-finals of the Euro Cup would not be as dull. It was also reflected in the field game. The game was frozen by the momentary attacks of the two teams. Türkiye leads by 1-0 at the end of the first half.

Two minutes into the match, Depay’s shot went wide. Despite having 54 percent possession in the first 20 minutes, all Dutch attacks were blocked in the Turkish D-box.

In the 29th minute, Bardacci’s volley shot went wide of the crossbar. Finally, the first goal of the match came from Turkey in the 35th minute.

Samit Akaydin put Turkey 1-0 ahead with a superb header from Arda Guler’s great cross.

In the 42nd minute, Steven Bergwin of the Dutch took a shot from outside the D-box but it missed the target. If there were no more goals in the first half, Türkiye went into the break with a 1-0 lead.
