Two cars were seized from Shaheen’s house, the mastermind of Anna’s murder

Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police seized two cars of Aktaruzzaman Shaheen, the mastermind behind the murder of Jhenaidah-4 Constituency Member of Parliament Anwarul Azim Anna.

Two cars were recently seized from the garage of Shaheen’s rented house in Gulshan in the capital. Among them, one is a white colored Prado model car and the other is a microbus.

According to sources related to the investigation, a team of DB raided Aktaruzzaman’s rented house in Gulshan last Saturday afternoon. Later Shaheen’s white colored Prado car in the ground floor garage of the house was seized. Another white colored microbus was also seized from the same garage.

It is known that Shaheen used two cars when he came to Dhaka from the United States.

Among the accused in the murder of MP Ana. Siam Hossain was arrested in Nepal. He is currently in the custody of Kolkata Police. Another accused, Jihad Howladar, known as Kasai, was also arrested in Kolkata, India.

On the other hand, four people have been arrested in Bangladesh so far. They are Amanullah Aman alias Shimul Bhuiyan, his nephew Tanveer Bhuiyan, Silisti Rahman and Kazi Kamal alias Gas Babu. Among them, the first three confessed to the crime and gave a statement in court.

The other absconding accused are – Mostafizur Rahman, Faisal Ali Saji, Chelsea Cherry alias Aria, Taj Mohammad Khan alias Haji and Md. Jamal Hossain.

On May 12, MP Annar went to India from Kaliganj in Jhenaidah for treatment. Went to the house of a friend named Gopal Biswas on Mandalpara Lane of Barahnagar police station in West Bengal. The next day he left the house saying to see the doctor. Since then he mysteriously disappeared.

Five days after leaving the house, on May 18, friend Gopal Biswas filed a GD regarding Anwarul Azim’s disappearance at Barahnagar police station. Even then, this three-time member of parliament is not found. On May 22, news suddenly spread that Anwarul Azim was murdered in room BU 56 of a residential building named Sanjiba Gardens in the Newtown area of ​​Kolkata. Traces of blood are found inside the house.
