Two innocent girls want justice for father’s murder

The families and local residents of the Chandpur city held a human chain and protested to demand justice for the murder of Al-Amin in the clash in the old market. On Tuesday (June 25) in the afternoon in front of the Chandpur Press Club, a human chain was held for an hour and a protest march was held on various roads of the city. Later, they gave a memorandum to Mayor Zillur Rahman Jewell to remove Chandpur Municipal Panel Mayor Mohammad Ali Majhi from the post.

Meanwhile, Al-Amin’s two daughters Ayesha (6) and Sadia (3) stood with banners and posters demanding justice for the murder of their father. Although the younger daughter Sadia could not say anything, Ayesha wanted justice for the murder of her father in human chains.

Speakers in the human chain said that the current panel mayor of Chandpur municipality, Mohammad Ali Majhi, is a terrorist and an occupying person who creates terror in the area. Chandpur Sadar Upazila Parishad election recently his son. Rakib Majhi contested for the post of chairman. He and his forces intimidated the voters before and after the polls. His son defeated in the election and attacked and shot Al Amin Khan with a terrorist group with indigenous weapons and firearms.

He and his two sons Sajib Majhi and Rakib Majhi and their people abused the power and made the people of the area hungry and hostage for a long time. I demand punishment from the government by arresting them.

Al Amin’s father, Abdul Mojib Khan Dengu, said that the current panel mayor of Chandpur municipality, Mohammad Ali Majhi, became the owner of billions of rupees by trading in Chanachur. He has 5-7 houses in Chandpur and Dhaka in his name. He and his two sons created a terrorist force by making illegal earnings. Councilors were elected by the municipality by holding people hostage at gunpoint. The panel mayor gave the money. They got power and now they are shooting people. If my son’s trial is not done, we will go on a tougher movement.

On Tuesday night, June 11, there was a clash between two groups at Puran Bazar Palash, Market Road and Nitaiganj Road. An autorickshaw driver named Al-Amin Khan (30) was shot dead in this incident. In this incident, 378 people have been accused in two separate cases at Chandpur Model Police Station on June 13. So far 5 accused have been arrested.
