What Suarez said about retirement before the match against Brazil

Uruguay will face Brazil in the quarter-finals of the Copa America. Tomorrow, Sunday, the two teams will enter the field in Las Vegas at 7 am Bangladesh time. This is going to be the most high-voltage match of this year’s Copper Quarter.

Uruguayan star Luis Suarez made suggestive comments about his international career before the match. However, the highest scorer in Uruguay’s football history is not feeling any pressure about tomorrow’s match. The star, who has scored 68 goals in his international career, wants to enjoy the end of his career.

“I’m enjoying every moment,” Suarez said. At this age it’s a matter of enjoying it more and more as you get older. Because, you know, a lot of football flames are going out.’

‘I’m just one (team player). You’ve already seen it. To play or not to play; I’m happy with what I’m working on and trying to help (the team) as much as I can,’ added Suarez.

Currently Uruguay team is in great form. That is why they are not worried about the match against Brazil. Because Uruguay defeated Brazil and Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers a few months ago.

Expecting to win tomorrow’s match, Suarez said, ‘This team has given a big shock in the World Cup qualifiers by defeating Brazil and Argentina. They showed that strength on the pitch. They can beat anyone… it’s time to prove it and it’s a big test for us.’
