When is Eid-ul-Azha, will be known on Friday

The date of the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be known tomorrow Friday evening.

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee will be held on Friday (June 7) at 7:30 PM at Baitul Mukarram Hall of the Islamic Foundation. In the meeting, the moon sighting of the month of Zilhaj and the date of the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be decided. Minister of Religion will preside over the meeting. Faridul Haque Khan.

If the moon is sighted on Friday, the month of Zilhaj will start counting from Saturday (June 8). In this case, Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated in Bangladesh on June 17 (10 Zilhaj). If the moon is not sighted, the 30th day of the month of Zilkad will be completed on Saturday. In that case, counting of Zilhaj month will start from next Sunday (June 9), Eid will be celebrated in the country on June 18.
