Will Hunter Biden go to jail?

Although the criminal charges against him are serious, Hunter’s risk of going to jail as a first-time offender is low.

Some experts believe Hunter Biden will likely be placed on probation as a condition of community service. Under US law, repeat offenses carry long and severe sentences. But this is the first such charge against Hunter.

Moreover, being a high-profile figure, the president’s son could face up to a year in a minimum-security prison with few restrictions.

Will President Biden waive his son’s sentence?

The trial against Hunter Biden was held in Delaware. Joe Biden has already rushed there to show ‘love and support’ to his son.

In a statement, he said, I am the president, but also a father. Many families with loved ones battling drug addiction can relate to this sentiment and feel the pride of seeing a loved one overcome addiction.

The US president said he would accept the verdict against his son. That’s because Hunter Biden plans to appeal the ruling. The president will have 30 days to appeal against the sentence.

However, President Biden has rejected the possibility of waiving his son’s sentence.
