Opener Aaron Johnson fought alone to handle Pakistan’s bowling cannon. Made 52 runs off 44 balls with 4 fours and sixes. Still, Canada could not score more than 106 runs for 7 wickets. In other words, to win, Pakistan has to make 107.

At the Nassau County Stadium in New York, Canada lost the toss and came out to bat. They keep losing wickets at regular intervals. Opener Johnson pulled the team till the 14th over.

In the end, captain Saad Bin Zafar (10 balls from 21 balls), Kaleem Sana (13 balls from 14 balls) and Dylan Heiliger scored 9 runs unbeaten from 11 balls. None of the rest could even touch the tenth house.

Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir took 13 runs and Haris Rauf took two wickets each for 26 runs.
