A person was killed by a train in the capital


Shajahanpur of the capital was hit by a train. A person named Enayet Ullah (40) was killed. The accident happened on Wednesday (June 5) around 8:30 pm.

He was rescued in a serious condition and rushed to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 9 pm.

Brother of the deceased. Arif said that Enayet Ullah was crossing the railway line on the opposite side of Hikma Eye Hospital in Shajahanpur at night. At that time he was seriously injured by a train. Later he was rescued and brought to DM, the doctor declared him dead.

He also said that their village home is in Jaykalipur village of Bancharampur police station in Brahmanbaria. Their father is late ANM Shahidullah. Currently they live in Khilgaon Bagicha area.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp Incharge (Inspector) Md. Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter and said that the body has been kept in the morgue of the emergency department. The matter has been reported to the railway police station.
