The central bank has announced the new schedule of bank transactions. After Eid-ul-Azha, bank transactions and office activities will continue on the new schedule.
A circular in this regard has been issued from the Department of Offsite Supervision (DOS) of Bangladesh Bank on Sunday (June 9).
According to the circular signed by DOS Director Masuma Sultana, transactions will start from 10 am in the banks from June 19, till further instructions are given in accordance with the office schedule announced by the government. It will continue till 4 pm.
And office activities will start at 10 am. It will continue till 6 pm. There will be weekend holidays on Friday and Saturday.
At present, transactions in banks are from 10 am to 3:30 pm. And the offices of the banks are open from 10 am to 5 pm.
