Chelsea’s new coach who is Maresca?
Chelsea have changed 22 coaches in 24 years since 2000. Argentine coach Mauricio Pochettino left the club by mutual consent due to poor performance in the league recently. This time he was replaced by Enzo Maresca, the coach who brought Leicester City back to the Premier League.
The Italian signed a five-year contract with Chelsea. Chelsea have to pay a huge amount of compensation to get Maresca. Leicester will receive around 10 million pounds in compensation.
Chelsea have been looking for a new coach for a long time. Finally they chose Maresca. Maresca scored 97 points for Leicester City in this year’s championship. This is the first time he was in charge of a full coach of a club.
Maresca, 44, was Parma’s coach in 2021. Where he could last only 6 months. He got only 4 wins from 14 matches in charge. Leicester have not been wrong to recognize Maresca, who is behind Manchester City’s elite development squad.
Leicester City won the title and thanked City’s treble-winning team because Maresca learned a lot from them and implemented them on the field.
