Former students of AK High School played football


The former (2003 batch) students of AK Higher Secondary School located in Daniya of the capital were engrossed in the joy of football. For this football festival they chose the artificial turf adjacent to Buffe Bhavan.

The school organized a reunion and football fiesta tournament of the 2003 batch students on Friday. About 120 students and their families from the 2003 Science, Humanities and Business Education Department participated in the Football Fiesta.

In the final of the seven-a-side football match, Science Department defeated Business Education Department 4-0 to become champions.

Crests are awarded to all participants and trophies are awarded to champion teams. Alfaz Ahmed, former national footballer and head coach of Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, was present at the prize distribution ceremony.

At the end of the program, Alfaz Ahmed said, ‘It is a wonderful initiative. I went back in time while watching the game sitting outside the field. I am very happy to come to this event. I thank the organizers of this 2003 football fiesta for inviting me. I hope their bond of friendship will always be unbreakable.’
