Just before Eid, 14 cows of the farm were stolen


In Chandpur’s Faridganj, 14 cows were stolen from the farm of an expatriate just before Eid al-Adha. This incident took place in Subidpur area of ​​the upazila on May 31. In this incident, he returned to Kuwait. Abdul Quddus (50) filed a written complaint at Faridganj police station on June 1 afternoon.

Md. Abdul Quddus is the son of Lakit Ulya of Subidpur village of Subidpur East Union.

He did not know that Quddus found the door blocked from the outside while going out to pray at around 4 o’clock on Friday night. Later he called his younger brother Abdur Rahim and asked him to open the door. Opened the door and went to the cowshed and saw that the lock was broken and the 14 cows in the cowshed were missing.

Meanwhile, a team of police including Additional Superintendent of Police (Haziganj Circle) Pankaj Kumar De visited the spot after filing a written complaint at Faridganj police station.

Faridganj Police Station (Additional Duty) Officer-in-Charge Mintu Datta said that due to upazila elections, the police could not investigate fully. The election is over, now the matter will be looked at seriously.
