Police rescued the missing housewife with three children from Brahmanbaria from Bogra. They were rescued from Bogra Sadar on Sunday (June 9) morning.
They are Khaleda Akhtar Ritu (28), wife of Ataur Rahman Bhuiya of Bijoypur village of Akhaura South Union, her three daughters Tabassum Akhtar (10), Tanisha Akhtar (7) and Humaira Akhtar (5).
Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Billal Hossain said that the housewife was having a love affair with a young man named Mehedi Hasan of Bogra on mobile phone for 6 months. Mehdi Hasan came to Brahmanbaria on Friday. On the same day, the housewife came out with her three daughters from her father’s house saying that she was going to her husband’s house. Later they went to Bogra with Mehdi.

Meanwhile, not finding his wife with three children, the husband filed a general diary (GD) at the police station. When the police started investigation, they were rescued from Bogra. The housewife along with her boyfriend Mehdi Hasan and three missing children have been taken into police custody.
He also said that a police team is returning to Brahmanbaria with them. Further information may be revealed in their interrogation later.
