Policeman killed in police firing in Gulshan


A member of the police was killed in the firing by the police in Gulshan of the capital. Initially, the name of the policeman was not known. A pedestrian was also shot in this incident.

The incident happened in front of the Palestinian embassy in Gulshan on Saturday (June 8) around 12:00 pm.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Gulshan police station Mazharul Islam said, “Maybe one of our constables shot another constable due to mental problems. I heard that the pedestrian was injured in this incident.’

The OC also said that initially it is believed that the policeman who fired the shot was mentally disturbed.
