RAB found a large quantity of illegal VoIP equipment in a house in Nayapaltan area of the capital. A raiding team of RAB-3 surrounded the house from Monday (June 10) morning.
This was confirmed by the captain of RAB-3, Lt. Colonel Md. Feroze Kabir.
He said that a gang is operating VoIP business illegally. According to intelligence information, they were doing business in a house (house no-63) in Nayapaltan. They used to earn lakhs of rupees by evading a huge amount of government revenue. The house is surrounded. The operation will be conducted in some time.
The captain of RAB-3 also said that details will be given after the operation.
