Shahbaz congratulated Modi

Narendra Modi has taken oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third time in a row. He took this oath at the country’s Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday (June 9). The heads of state of most of the neighboring countries were present in it.

However, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif did not forget to congratulate Modi even though no one from Pakistan was present at the swearing-in ceremony.

Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif congratulated Modi after taking his oath.

Shahbaz wrote on his Twitter account, “Congratulations to Modi on being sworn in as the Prime Minister of India.”

Narendra Modi made history by taking oath as the Prime Minister of India for the third consecutive term. 72 ministers including him read the oath on Sunday evening. Among them are 30 Union Ministers, five Independent Incharges and 36 State Ministers. Who will get the responsibility of which ministry will be announced later.

Modi became the second person in the history of India to become Prime Minister for three consecutive terms by taking oath on this day. Before him, only Jawaharlal Nehru served as the country’s prime minister for three consecutive terms. He became the Prime Minister of India during the terms of 1952, 1957 and 1962.
