General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader raised the question of who made General Moin U Ahmed the army chief. There are many Aziz-Benjis in Awami League – he raised this question in reference to BNP’s claim.

Regarding the fourth phase upazila election, Obaidul Quader said that it was feared that the election would be controversial, but in reality it was not. Voter turnout in the fourth phase is more than 34 percent.
He also said that Bangladesh’s friendship is with the Indian government and not with any particular group or individual.
Obaidul Quader claimed that BNP will protest against corruption as the best joke of the year.
Meanwhile, the bridge minister said that the ACC is independent. ACC can investigate and file a case if the ministers commit any corruption.
Dr. Regarding the case of Muhammad Yunus, he said, his trial is going on in the case of the victims. Our country has laws. Yunus will be judged according to that law. There will be no violation of law. No injustice will be done to him in the case. He will get the fair trial he deserves. We have no qualms about insulting him in any way.
Central Awami League leaders including Awami League organizing secretary BM Mozammel Haque, SM Kamal Hossain, Sujit Roy Nandi, office secretary Biplab Barua, publicity and publication secretary Abdis Sobhan Golap, deputy office secretary Sayem Khan were present in the briefing.
