Yusuf Pathan was elected MP


Counting of Indian National Election votes is underway. In the states where the counting of votes ends, it is announced who will be the new member of Parliament for the next 5 years. Yusuf Pathan, the former cricketer of the Indian national team, has received good news. The two-time World Cup winning star has been elected MP for Baharampur constituency in West Bengal.

Yusuf Pathan has been elected MP from Trinamool Congress. His main rival in this seat was National Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

Yusuf Pathan thanked the party members for standing by and supporting him after winning the election. After that, the former star cricketer of the country expressed the hope of providing a sports academy and various industrial institutions in Baharampur.

Yusuf Pathan said that party chief Mamata Banerjee congratulated him for winning and was very happy with this victory.
