300 illegal gas connections disconnected in Gazipur


Titus Gas Authority has disconnected about 300 illegal residential gas connections in Kunia Madhyapara area of ​​Gazipur City Corporation.

On Monday (June 10) from noon to evening, the Titas Gas Authority conducted a raid with the help of the district administration and disconnected these illegal connections. Meanwhile, the mobile court fined the four people 360,000 taka.

Titus Gas Regional Office Deputy Manager Engineer Asaduzzaman Azad told Jago News that operations were conducted to disconnect illegal gas connections from various houses under the leadership of District Administration Executive Magistrate Shahana Afroz. Monir Hossain of that area was fined one lakh taka, Ayesha Akhtar was fined taka 50 thousand, Enamul Haque Chunnu was fined two lakh taka and Mamun Mirza was fined taka 10 thousand.

Besides, a large number of pipes, risers and stoves used in illegal connections were seized.
