Education Minister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel said, ‘Digital Bangladesh was created under the guidance of Sheikh Hasina. One of the achievements of that digital Bangladesh is digitization in land management.
He said this while addressing the chief guest at the inaugural function of ‘Weekly Bhoomiseva Week-2024’ at the gymnasium hall of MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong city on Saturday (June 8). The program was organized by Chittagong Divisional Commissioner’s Office and District Administration.
Education Minister said, ‘Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, we are working to build Smart Bangladesh by 2041. Delivering all land-related services in a smart manner to the doorsteps of the people without corruption and harassment is one of the areas of building a Smart Bangladesh. Urging the present generation to acquire knowledge on land management.
Chittagong District Commissioner Abul Basar Mohammad Fakhruzzaman presided over and senior assistant commissioner Rajiv Hossain attended the event as a special guest. Tofail Islam, CMP Commissioner Krishna Pad Rai, Additional Divisional Commissioner (Revenue) Yachmin Parveen Tibriji, Chittagong Range Additional DIG Sanjay Sarkar etc.
Land Service Week is being celebrated across Bangladesh from June 8 to June 14 to create awareness among the common citizens about the various activities undertaken by the Ministry of Lands of the Government. In continuation of this, 103 upazila land offices, circle land offices and all union land offices of 11 districts of the division including Chittagong district are celebrating Bhoomiseva Week-2024.
