Pedestrian died due to poisonous gas while visiting Dhaka


The poisonous gas released from the leakage of chemical drum in the embankment area of ​​capital Adabar. A pedestrian named Kabir Hossain (45) died. This incident happened on Tuesday (June 11) morning.

Later, he was rescued and taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at around 7 am by the doctor on duty.

Deceased Kabir’s cousin Ruhul Amin said that Kabir came to visit his house from Lakshmipur a few days ago. In the morning, go for a walk on the embankment of Adabar. Later, the accident happened when a person named Jahangir was walking in front of the shop. He became unconscious due to the release of poisonous gas. Later, when he was taken to Dhaka Medical, the doctor declared him dead.

He also said that Kabir’s house is in Sonapur village of Ramganj police station in Lakshmipur district. Father’s name is Shafiullah.

Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police Camp Assistant Sub-Inspector ASI Md. Masud reported the death of Mia. He said the body has been kept in the morgue. The matter has been informed to the concerned police station.
