A rifle with 30 rounds of bullets was recovered from the side of Nawab Hossain’s in-law’s house, one of the accused in the murder case of Jubo League activist Mohammad Ali Hossain in Jessore.
On Saturday (June 8) around 9:30 pm, the police recovered the weapons from an abandoned building next to the house of father-in-law Abu Safian in Bahadurpur village of Sadar Upazila.
Jessore Kotwali Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdur Razzak confirmed the matter.
He said that a sawn-off rifle, 30 rounds of bullets and one bullet shell were recovered from the house of Biswanath Gain in Uttarpara area of suburban Kismat Nawapara. Police are investigating the incident.
